Biography
Since 2006 Buckets Of have experimented with country, rock & roll and dance music. The 5-piece Toronto based outfit consists of Corey Wells (guitar), Meaghan Bent (drums), Katie McLeod (keys), Wes Moore (bass) and Emily Lawrence (sax). Each member brings with them different influences and personal tastes. These individual qualities compliment each other to create the distinct sound of Buckets Of. Songs switch from thunderous attacks to soft lullabies. Sometimes dark and sometimes drunken we draw influences from our upbringing and from the world we live in.
We are most interested in playing house parties, trailer park social events, your backyard or in some abandoned building. We often participate in charitable causes and welcome your inquiries about our availability to play your event or party. As very hungry musicians, we are flexible and appreciate payment in both beer and currency. Focusing mostly on original material, we keep a few cover songs in our pocket to keep the party interesting.
